Quick answer

What is online counselling?

Online counselling, also called virtual therapy or telehealth, is counselling delivered through a secure video platform. You meet your therapist face to face on screen from a private space, and sessions follow the same evidence-based approaches as in-person therapy. Research shows online therapy can be as effective as in-person sessions for many concerns, including anxiety and depression.

Online sessions are available to residents anywhere in Alberta. Our therapist is also registered in Ontario, so online sessions may be available to Ontario residents; ask us when you book.
