Quick answer
A grief support group is a small group of people who have each lost someone important, meeting regularly with a trained facilitator. It offers a place to talk openly about the person who died, the feelings that come with loss and the changes in daily life, without having to explain or hurry. Many people find comfort in hearing that their reactions are normal.

What we explore
Why grief does not follow neat stages, and common reactions in body and mind.
When you could not travel home for a death, funeral or rituals.
Honouring traditions and finding meaningful ways to remember.
When family members grieve differently, and supporting children.
Anniversaries, holidays and milestones.
Finding routines, purpose and connection while keeping your loved one close.
There is no right time. Some people join within weeks, others years later. We talk with you first to make sure the group feels right.
Individual grief counselling may be helpful first or alongside the group. We can help you decide.
The group is forming now. Register your interest and we will contact you when dates are confirmed.
