Quick answer

What is sexuality and intimacy counselling?

Sexuality and intimacy counselling is talk therapy for individuals or couples experiencing concerns about sexual connection, desire, emotional closeness or sexual identity. A counsellor helps you understand the emotional, relational and cultural factors involved, improve communication about needs and boundaries, and rebuild trust and closeness at a comfortable pace.

Counselling is talk-based only. Some sexual concerns have medical causes, so we may suggest seeing your doctor alongside counselling.
